Scalable, Decentralized Computational Network

What are FluxNodes?

FluxNode operators supply dedicated computing power, which generates rewards in Flux for powering the network.

There are multiple options for supplying computing power, including renting from a VPS provider, raspberry pi 4, renting a dedicated server to host multiple FluxNodes, or purchasing a server outright and hosting it in a data center or well-equipped home/office.

NODE TIERS

3 tiers of computational nodes, allowing anyone to participate

The above requirements are the minimum that a node provider must have to overcome the benckmarking system. If a node owner provides more resources than the above, the network will use all the resources that can be found on the specific server.

Reward Structure

The block reward is split 50% POW / 50% FluxNode operators, for each and every block. The rewards for FluxNode ownership are designed to be stable with a sustainable ROI.

Stratus

1 Node receive 30% meaning 22.5 Flux per blockfind

Nimbus

1 Node receive 12.5% meaning 9.375 Flux per blockfind

^

Cumulus

1 Node receive 7.5% meaning 5.625 Flux per blockfind

]

POW

Miners receive 50% of the 75 Flux blockfind for securing the Flux chain.

DETAILS

Note: The monthly cost to either rent or run dedicated hardware is significantly higher than earlier projects’ masternodes and should be researched thoroughly by a potential node operator. FluxNodes do much more than simply validate transactions.

High-availability

Hundreds of Nodes at launch

Over 1,000 highly-available FluxNodes on the network.

Nodes will power future dApps, Smart Contracts, Sidechains & Asset layers

VPS discounts through our partners

Support via Discord for Node operators

Benchmarking must meet minimum specs, uptime requirement: > 97%

Benchmarking will be performed per tier and based on results from the equivalently-spec’d DigitalOcean Droplet for the specs above. Uptime requirement allows for ~ 40 minutes downtime per day for maintenance, unforseen issues, etc.
